Join me for a free 70-minute class on Facebook from Sunday, March 15. The practice starts 18 minutes in.
I see the yoga practice as meditation. When you’re in a meditation hall, everyone is alone, together. My intention with this online offering is that we can be together, alone.
This practice is specifically geared to calm our nerves and encourage lymphatic flow for our immune system.
Thank you for your support
The Coronavirus has rightfully scared many people, and many of us wish to avoid public spaces, including their fitness classes. If you are interested in ways to develop your own personal home practice with thoughtful instruction, consider checking out some of my offerings below.
Stay informed and vigilant, and thank you for your yoga practice.
One-to-one session to revitalize your home practice and customize a sequence for you: $95
This 75-minute private session is for those who have been thinking about starting a home practice, or would like ideas and guidance about their current home practice. Richard will help you build a sequence or two you can practice at home, using the space and tools you have.
You’ll receive a follow-up email with your customized sequence and any other ideas or information during the session, so you’ll always have it for reference.
We can either Skype or meet in-person. I’m available at my home studio in the East End, or at the East Liberty or Squirrel Hill Schoolhouse Yoga locations.
Yoga Video Subscription Series
Coming soon! I’m developing a video subscription series to start next week. Each week you’ll receive two unique yoga practices, each 65-75 minutes long, straight to your inbox.
One video will focus more on sthira (strength), the other more on sukha (ease), so you’ll have a practice that suits various needs. You will only need a mat, a strap, and a block for the videos (blanket optional).
I also hope to include bonus “micro-practices;” short, focused practices for hands, face, and feet.
If you’re interested, sign up for my newsletter below. I’ll be sending the first week’s subscription out for free to all my subscribers.
Onward Facing Yoga App for iPhone and iPad
Onward Facing Yoga is an app for those who practice and those who teach. It’s free to download with five sequences and full functionality. The complete version gives you access to an additional six sequences. Even if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad, please check out this video of “Sun-Faced Buddha,” a shorter morning sequence to start your day.
